We're proud to support our communities to protect and celebrate the region’s irreplaceable heritage, from the cityscapes of Manchester to the stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales, the cultural history of Newcastle, through to the Lake District's natural beauty.

There is step-free access throughout the building, with a few low gradient ramps. There is lift access to three floors and adapted toilets on all levels. The downstairs accessible toilets have height adjusting sinks, rails and a hoist.

The building is wheelchair accessible, with access via the car park. There is a lift from street level to the car park along with an assistance call button. There is a platform lift to the mezzanine floor and an accessible toilet.

A £46,600 grant allowed a glimpse into the world of Victorian crime and punishment by breathing new life into the nineteenth century courtroom in historic Leeds Town Hall.

Victoria Baths Trust and the Friends of Victoria Baths have been working towards the restoration and reopening of Victoria Baths since 1993.

This project aims to restore and raise awareness of an important biodiversity habitat, home to a range of rare species.

This project told the story of the UK's first professional black footballer, with free educational resources exploring Arthur Wharton's heritage.

The Pennines are known as the 'hills that shaped the modern world' and with their 1,000-year history of rural and industrial heritage, their story has now been documented and preserved forever through a £573,400 project.

Lightshaw Meadows was purchased in order to conserve and protect a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and increase public access to it.

Through a programme of community engagement and learning activities, the RSPB inspired people to help conserve hen harriers across their remaining breeding strongholds in northern England.
